Done & Done!

SO, we wanted a space where we (the staff…ie me or Jake, most likely) could share some stories about our life serving full time with Youth, Inc. and so that you could learn a little bit more about who we are and what we do.

To start ~ last week was a big week for Wired/Youth, Inc. and it’s definitely worth sharing!

On September 20, Wired received its Amusement&Entertainment license. This is required by the state (Indiana Department of Homeland Security) to all places wanting to have entertaining events or large assemblies. To reference Jake’s last newsletter, this has been a real David V. Goliath type experience for Youth, Inc.

To bring in a Brooksism though: God blesses the doers.

And we have been doing alot this summer. Not that we didn’t do alot before, but in the past couple of months, we have been sprinting towards the finish line. And last week…quite unexpectedly, (personally, I was out buying milk when the inspector first arrived), we crossed it.

Thank you to God for blessing us over the years and for blessing us today. Thank you to everyone who gave their blood, sweat, & tears over the last days, months, years (rhyming not intended. sorry.) to help Youth, Inc. achieve this and get to where it’s at today. Thank you to everyone who enters the building and shares life, even if only for a few minutes each day, with us. You make it truly worth it, and we are so excited to be able to go ahead “full-fledged” to serve you.
