Wired Coffee House would like to ANNOUNCE and INVITE all area college students (ALL!!! THIS MEANS: USI/UE/IVY TECH/OAKLAND CITY/ HENDERSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE/KENTUCKY WESLEYAN/& ANYONE ELSE WE FORGOT IN THE TRI-STATE AREA!) to come participate in the great 2012 FREE FOR WALL!!!
Basic Facts:
WHO: You (college student)
WHAT: Your art work. Our walls. That is~ think of us as a gallery, and this is your chance to hang your artwork for all the world to see, no commission or hidden fees. The hitch: Free for Wall means this is a first come, first serve art hanging. You are free to hang your art wherever you find space!
WHEN: May 1, 2, 3 8AM~1PM & 3PM~6PM each day. Special Night hours on Thursday: 3PM~8PM!!!
- COME BACK ON FRIDAY, MAY 4TH, 6~10PM for our monthly art reception (First Fridays) featuring YOUR ART WORK! Bring all your friends/parents/countrymen. See what the other tri-state coeds have been up to. Enjoy refreshments. Get to meet people from all over the community.
WHERE: Wired Coffee House [111 NW 4th Street downtown Evansville]. You have free reign over our wall space. Coffee Shop/Auditorium/Bathrooms/Hallway. You find a space for your work, you hang it up!
WHY: Wired Coffee House recognizes that there is ALOT of artistic talent in the young adults of our fair city, and we want to do what we can to encourage it. We begin every month with First Fridays, a chance for artists and the community to see works by a local artist and better connect with local arts and culture.
- MAY IS YOUR MONTH! We would like to dedicate May’s First Friday to you, college student. But we need your help. We need your art. And we want a lot of it.
- For you, this is a chance to have YOUR OWN SHOW. Whether you have 1 piece or 10 pieces, this show will give you the opportunity to work in a professional manner and showcase your talent and ability. Look at Wired as your gallery.
